Major (Retd.) R S Virk
President
Maj (Retd.) R S Virk, fondly known as “Lalli”, is the President of the Chandigarh Golf Club. A retired 15 Guards officer and former Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Tripura, he brings leadership and prior CGC Executive experience. Since January 2026, he has focused on professional course management, governance reforms, and member welfare. His initiatives include improving course maintenance, reviewing the Golf League format, and advancing digital voting and transparency. He also prioritizes youth golf, staff welfare, and strengthening the CGC community.
